Thank you for your interest in “Weld’s Way Home,” Weld County’s strategic plan to address and prevent homelessness and housing instability. The plan was drafted by United Way of Weld County staff and a Blue Ribbon Committee, made up of direct service providers such as local shelters, indirect service providers such as police department and medical care providers and community leaders who are passionate about assisting Weld County in this endeavor. Volunteers needed at the Cold Weather Shelter
United Way of Weld County and Catholic Charities have partnered to provide a temporary shelter to protect individuals experiencing homelessness from the frigid winter nights. The shelter is located at 1428 7th Avenue in Greeley, and is open to men and women 18+ from 7pm until 7am. Volunteers are needed to provide dinners each night from now until April 15th.
