The Human Bean of Northern Colorado Donates $1,000 to United Way of Weld County

As a way to recognize National Coffee Day and contribute to the local community, The Human Bean of Northern Colorado drive-thru coffee shops raised $1,000 for United Way of Weld County on Sept. 29. All proceeds from drip coffee sales for the day at all four Weld County locations were donated to United Way of Weld County. “United Way does incredible work in our northern Colorado community,” said Frank Sherman, owner of The Human Bean. “It is our pleasure to support them in any way we can.”


United Way of Weld County volunteers and employees served coffee as guest baristas at the Human Bean locations in Weld County. The guest baristas who participated in the fundraiser were:

• Marcus Lawniczak and Lyn Davis: 100 S. 2nd St., La Salle (on Highway 85)
• Eva Keaton and Goldie Augustmoon: 3665 W. 10th St., Greeley
• Margie Martinez and Debbie Pilch: 2610 W. 10th St., Greeley
• Amber Harmon and Tara Hess: 3310 23rd Ave., Evans
