Advocate for children, youth and families in Weld County by supporting HB16-1183

Please advocate for the children and families in Weld County. We encourage you to contact one or all of the Weld County House Representatives listed below to advocate for the passage of HB16-1183. This bill would allow precious dollars to be kept in Weld County for helping children, youth and families.

From United Way of Weld County President and CEO Jeannine Truswell:

"A few months ago we approved endorsement of state legislation that would allow counties the flexibility to use its child care funds in alignment with federal guidelines for the purpose of child care quality enhancements and to provide more access to child care for families within our county. I ask that you take a moment today or tomorrow to communicate with our state representatives encouraging them to support and concur with HB16-1183 and to ask them to encourage their colleagues to also do the same. This legislation is important for our community and our ability to support families."
