United Way News
I want to thank everybody who made the United Way of Weld County’s annual $20,000 car voucher drawing at Texas Roadhouse in Greeley another success. Eleven United Way of Weld County donors advanced as finalists for the drawing. Three semifinal drawings were held the past couple of months at the participating car dealerships – Ehrlich Family of Dealerships, Ghent Chevrolet Cadillac, Honda of Greeley, John Elway Chrysler Jeep Dodge, Greeley Spradley Barr Ford and Weld County Garage Buick GMC – all of whom donated the cost of the car voucher. I want to thank the car dealerships for their financial support toward the car voucher, and for supporting United Way of Weld County during this annual event. Thanks to the incredible staff at Texas Roadhouse for hosting the annual event and providing lunch for those in attendance.
I also want to thank all the donors who were eligible for the drawing. In order to be eligible, a pledge of $156 or more to the 2015 United Way of Weld County campaign was worth one entry into each of the three semifinal drawings. A pledge of $364 or more was worth two entries into the three semifinal drawings, and a pledge of $520 or more to the campaign was worth three entries into each drawing. Alicia Loschen of Greeley was this year’s winner of the car voucher.
The annual car voucher drawing wouldn’t be possible without the generous donors and the participation of the six car dealerships. United Way of Weld County is so thankful for their participation and is looking forward to the 2016 car voucher drawing.
