United Way of Weld County held its Chrome and Community Rally campaign kickoff at Chipper’s Lanes in Greeley on July 23. The annual corporate challenge event included bowling, laser tag, pizza from Empire State Pizza and chicken wings from Wing Shack. Teams competed for the annual Spirit Award, high and low score while kicking off the annual community campaign. Employees from Anderson & Whitney, Connecting Point, Flood and Peterson, Hensel Phelps, Hospice of Northern Colorado, JBS Beef Plant, National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Otis, Bedingfield & Peters and Professional Finance Company participated in the event.
Jesse Rosales (left) of Connecting Point won the Chipper's Family Package worth $110 that included one round of laser tag, two hours of bowling for up to four people with free shoe rental.
National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (Rosie Lopez, Terri Lopez, Sharon Ramirez, Don Carson, Cathie Prazma, Pamela Kurtz and Deb Beeman) won the spirit award by dressing as “Grease” characters from the movie. Flood and Peterson (Carly Meyers, Kay Dill, Alex Priest, Kathleen Stewart, Heidi Mink and Kim Parker) earned highest combined bowling score.
